VFM Standing Rib Roast serves 4 to 6

6 ½ lb. Standing Rib Roast
¼ cup Rayes Spicy Horseradish Mustard
Salt and pepper

Preheat oven to 450 degrees

Sprinkle Rib Roast with salt and pepper and then rub outside of meat with mustard. Roast on a rack in a shallow pan for 25 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees and continue roasting for approximately 1 ¾ hours (or degrees per pound of meat) for medium rare, with a meat thermometer reading of 135-140 degrees. Cover and let rest 15 minutes before carving.
